Furman Theater presents "Talking with"

Furman Theater's production of "Talking With" by Jane Martin offers thought provoking performances that showcase the talents of ten of Furman's student actresses and one guest actress. The play, directed by Jay Oney, consists of eleven monologues. These monologues give the audience a rare glimpse into the lives of ordinary women and how they endure and manage life's dissapointments.

Uncle Kracker visits Greenville

In 2000, Matthew Shafer released his first solo album after years of collaborating with recording artist Kid Rock. Ten years and four albums later, Shafer, known as artist Uncle Kracker, is still writing and producing hit songs such as "Follow me" and his recently debuted single "Smile" which is steadily climbing Billboard's magazine "Hot Country Songs" chart.

Still recovering from Writer's Block

About a month ago, I wrote about my struggle with writer's block. Unfortunately, I'm still suffering with it. But before you put me on your church's prayer list and blue-haired elderly ladies bring me pies, you should know that I've decided to accept my illness and move on.
